A large distribution and logistics company operating within the U.S and LATAM is seeking an junior Purchasing Coordinator that has the confidence to negotiate with suppliers, manage pricing, inventory control, and help cut costs.
- Contact vendors with any pricing discrepancy
- Negotiate with suppliers and find new ones
- Prepare and send purchase orders while making sure all cost and quantities necessary are accurate
- Arrange transportation
- Communicate with suppliers to ensure products are arriving to their required destination in a timely manner
Qualifications :
- 3-4 years of experience in purchasing within a logistics industry
- Microsoft Dynamics Preferred
- Effective multitasker
- Bilingual: English & Spanish
